Welcome to Westcountry Free Range Farmers. We are a co-operative of small, family run farms located across the heart of the Westcountry, where we have been growing free range chicken to the highest standards for over 20 years.
Our farms are all purposely designed with naturally-ventilated
buildings, specifically created to house free range chicken. The buildings are purposely located to provide good access to large tree-planted range areas, where birds are actively encouraged to roam and display natural behaviour.
Day old chicks are placed on our farms direct from the hatchery where experienced farm stockman will provide critical care looking after the birds throughout their life until point of slaughter. Birds are slow grown at low stocking densities to the highest standards and sold through major supermarket retailers across the UK.
